The legislator alleged that there are MPs within ANC that are working with Deputy President William Ruto.

Nominated Member of Parliament Godfrey Osotsi has urged Amani National Congress (ANC) party Leader Musalia Mudavadi to be ware of imposters within the party.

The lawmaker described the former vice president as a reputable leader in the country, with the potential of succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta as head of state.

Osotsi adviced Mudavadi to pay close attention to legislators close to him, and purporting to support his presidential bid.

The legislator alleged that there are MPs within ANC that are working with Deputy President William Ruto.

"I would like to tell Mudavadi, to take time and investigate the people around him, those that purport to support him. These people walk around with him, they sit with him in board rooms but at night they are with DP Ruto," he said.

Osotsi alleged that these particular legislators have been tasked with running anti-ODM Leader Raila Odinga campaigns in Western Kenya.

He alleged that they speak negatively about DP Ruto in public, but behind the scenes, make phone calls to the DP to clear their name.

The Nominated MP called out Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and Lurambi MP Titus Khamala as fake supporters of Mudavadi's presidential bid.

"There are people her who their job is to run anti-Raila strategies in Western. They wake up every day just to talk ill of Raila in Luhya land," he stated.

Osotsi claimed that the goal of these leaders in supporting Mudavadi's presidential bid, is not to have him win votes to become head of state, but split Odinga's influence in Western Kenya.

He alleged that the "moles" are campaigning for their preferred candidate under the disguise of supporting Mudavadi's presidential run in 2022, because they are certain he will not succeed.

He stated that he is not afraid of ratting out fake ANC supporters.

Osotsi alleged that he first informed the party that Eliud Owalo and Muluka were allied to DP Ruto during their time as members of ANC.

Owalo has since joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and endorsed DP Ruto's presidency come 2022.
