"Ngina Kenyatta is giving birth there. She's already at the hospital," the source as quoted by Mpasho.

For months, Ngina has stayed away from the public eye, leading to Kenyans speculating about her whereabouts.

The newborn will become President Kenyatta's third grandchild after the birth of Baby Wanjiru at the Aga Khan University Hospital in November 2017.

She was named after her grandmother, the First Lady.

Baby Wanjiru is the child of President Kenyatta's eldest son Jomo and his wife Fiona Achola Ngobi. The couple have two children.

The couple welcomed their second child Baby Uhuru, named after the Head of State on May 27, 2020, at the Nairobi Hospital.

According to reports, Ngina is set to marry her fiance' Alex Mwai Jr.
