ODM Leader Raila Odinga today held a meeting with governors from the Mount Kenya region to deliberate on key issues affecting the country ahead of the 2022 General Elections.
The governors included Lee Kinyanjui (Nakuru), Francis Kimemia (Nyandarua), James Nyoro (Kiambu) and Nderitu Mureithi (Laikipia).
Odinga was in a three-day tour of the Mount Kenya region as he seeks to popularise his agenda and vision for the country ahead of next year's polls.

The former premier under his economic plan, assured that his government would sponsor monthly trade promotion meetings which will bring together government officials, ministries, exporters, researchers, education institutions, and trading companies.
This will be intended to exchange ideas, goals, and to improve coordination and mutual understanding between private and public sectors.
"During the grand coalition government, the round table with the private sector created a forum for the much needed collaboration with the public sector. This enabled the two sectors to clear critical bottlenecks for the good of business and the nation," Odinga stated.
He assured that his government would pay particular attention to the needs of small and medium enterprises in the country and help them overcome challenges in foreign markets.
Odinga assured to give them export support services and diplomacy interventions.
Yesterday, September 26, he met Small & Media Enterprises (SMEs) owners from various parts of Laikipia County in Nanyuki.
The former premier assured that under his leadership, punitive taxes imposed on local SMEs will be relaxed to enable local entrepreneurs to flourish hence the growth of Kenya's economy.
He also met with youths from various parts of Laikipia County and engaged them on matters of local and national interest while gauging their areas of concern.
