Citizen TV Journalist Jeff Koinange on Thursday had a moment of his life after he got access the White House and the Oval Office; the official residence and office of the President of the United States of America.

Jeff was among journalists who were granted access to the Oval Office as President Joe Biden held talks with Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In an Instagram post, Jeff noted that his presence at the White House was made possible by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its officials both at home and in America.

He singled out Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Ambassador Macharia Kamau and Ambassador David Gacheru; the Deputy Chief of Mission in Kenya’s Embassy at Washington as some of the persons who made his White House visit possible.

“Inside the OVAL Office as President Uhuru Kenyatta meets with President @joebiden....and some fond memories in the gardens of the White House.....Thanks, Ambassador Macharia Kamau and Ambassador David Gacheru and @foreignofficeke for making this possible! Kazi iendelee!” Jeff posted.

Although journalists were not allowed to ask any questions during the session, being in the room among elite international journalists was a plus for Jeff.

Meanwhile, during the meeting, President Biden and President Kenyatta discussed their shared commitment to defending democracy and human rights, advancing regional peace and security, and accelerating economic prosperity through climate-smart solutions and the use of renewable energy resources.
