The Ministry of Defence has changed the venue for the earlier announced Kenya Defence Force recruitment exercise that was scheduled for Nyayo Stadium.

The Ministry of Defence has changed the venue for the Kenya Defence Force (KDF) recruitment exercise scheduled at Nyayo Stadium.

In a post shared on social media and a publication on the dailies on Wednesday, November 10, the ministry notified Kenyans that the exercise had been moved to the city stadium.

"Please be informed that the venue of the Kenya Defence Force(KDF) recruitment for Nairobi County (Embakasi Sub County) that was to be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Nyayo National Stadium has now been moved to City Stadium. All other details remain the same," the publication read in part.

The change of location will see applicants make their way to City Stadium and not Nyayo.

Still, the other details of the KDF recruitment exercise have not been changed as earlier announced, including other parts of the country.

The Ministry of Defence on October 26 had announced the mass recruitment drive for interested individuals to be part of the forces, both general and specialized.

The slots that the ministry sought to have included the General Service Officer Cadet, General Service Officer (GSO) Cadet - Graduate Degree Holders, Constables, Tradesmen/women, Specialist Officers and Servicemen/women (General Duty) Recruits
