Kenyans turned up in large numbers for the much anticipated Azimio la Umoja convention at Kasarani Stadium on Friday, December 10, 2021. 

Thousands braved the cold as early as 6:00 am to turn up for ODM leader Raila Odinga's big day.

The former premier is expected to declare his presidential candidature ahead of the 2022 general election. 

Pro-Odinga chants could be heard from his supporters on the roads leading to the stadium. 

According to ODM MP Junet Mohamed, over 60,000 people are expected to grace the event.

According to the schedule, Raila's documentary will be showcased at 11.15 pm and run for close to one hour.

After that, there will be performances from entertainers such as Ben Githae, Trio Mio, and Embarambamba before speeches kickstart between 1.40 pm to 2.40 pm.
