President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, is leading the celebrations at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.

Kenyans turned up in large numbers for the 57th Jamhuri Day celebrations held at Uhuru Gardens in Langata Road, Nairobi on Sunday, December 12, 2021. 

President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, is leading the celebrations at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.

The Head of State is dressed in the red tunic ceremonial gear for the Commander in Chief of Defense Forces. 

This will be the final Jamhuri Day celebrations presided by Kenyatta as head of state.

The historical Uhuru Gardens located along Lang'ata Road was remodeled and redeveloped into an ultra-modern public utility by the Kenya Defense forces (KDF).

Deputy President William Ruto, ODM leader Raila Odinga, and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi are all present. 

Cabinet secretaries, Governors, Senators, MPs, and MCAs have also graced the event.
