He stated that though he had supported Deputy President William Ruto's Bottom Up Economics, he did not agree with his 2022 ambitions.

Former Mukurweini MP Kabando Wa Kabando now says that he has no doubt that ODM leader Raila Odinga will be the fifth President of Kenya.

The former legislator mentioned that endorsing DP William Ruto's bottom-up economics never meant he agreed with his 2022 ambitions.

"2016 initiated a bipartisan parliamentary caucus for IEBC electoral reforms. Trolls insulting coz I've joined Odinga's Presidential Campaign should understand that endorsing Ruto's #bottomupEconomics crusade never meant approving his 2022 aspirations. Bipartisanship is on issues.

"I am not joining any conservative cabal around Raila Odinga. Rather, my colleagues and I are now in the fiercely independent-minded intellectual wing to help moderate and spur progressive issues to win. I have no doubt whatsoever that Agwambo will be the 5th President of Kenya," Kabando said.

He added," When Prof Wangari Maathai supported Jaramogi she knew there was Kibaki and Matiba from home. She lost the "world" but ultimately won the Kingdom of global integrity and fame. Fortunately, Raila Odinga isn't contesting against a Kibaki or a Matiba from home. Tinga is a safer bet!

"Those who demonised us for being Raila sympathisers are with us now #BabaThe5th. Our new critics have been hyptonized by swirling tides, understandably so. It is our duty to politely, persuasively, passionately convince them that a Kenya under Raila is better than with his rivals."

Kabando stated that they were on a mission to earn trust, win hearts, convince 50%+1 voters that Mr. Odinga can be trusted.

"Politics of hate, paranoia, tribalism and violence have no place in Kenya of today. They were politics of myopic and greedy cartels. We're aware of hurdles and limitations in our Choice. But more importantly, we know we are safe with a Raila Odinga Presidency. We shall win this," he concluded.
