Jalang'o, who is eyeing Lang'ata parliamentary seat, said his opponents have started being jittery of his candidature.

Comedian-cum-radio Presenter Felix Odiuor, alias Jalang'o, has called out his opponents for fuelling propaganda against him.

In a statement on Wednesday, Jalang'o, who is eyeing Lang'ata parliamentary seat, said his opponents have started being jittery of his candidature adding that they have embarked on spreading false information about his bid.

Though he did not specify the kind of propaganda being peddled against him, the Kiss 100 radio breakfast show host said he is in the ODM party to stay.

"The heat in Langata has become too much for our competitors! Wameaanza propaganda! Chama ni ODM ndani ya Azimio la Umoja! Ignore the busybodies! Wacha tuingie ground! Watajua Lango ni kwa Jalang'o!" He said.

The remarks came even as a section of people started linking him to Deputy President William Ruto who is believed to have close ties with the comedian.

DP Ruto, however, is likely to endorse MP Nixon Korir for the seat in the event he wins UDA primaries.

The incumbent MP has been backing the DP even as Jalang'o, who is seeking to have his first stab at a parliamentary seat, openly campaigns for Raila.

The DP is passionate about the UDA party and it is unlikely that he will back someone who belongs to another outfit.

Jalang'o is expected to resign from his radio job on February 8, so that he can focus on his parliamentary seat.
