A  huge snake caused a commotion at a meeting held at Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka's home in Yatta.

The Saturday incident caused panic among the attendees of the meeting that included leaders drawn from the Akamba dominated counties.

According to the video accessed by Nairobi Leo, a section of leaders who attended the meeting are seen moving with speed to contain the snake.

They manage to kill it and one of the attendees carried it by use of his hands and took it away.

The leaders were having a meal when the snake emerged in the tent throwing the gathering into disarray.

The meeting was called by Wiper leader Kalonzo who sought to deliberate with his community on his political future ahead of the 2022 polls.

However, a section of Governors including Machakos Alfred Mutua, Kitui's Charity Ngilu and Makueni's Kivutha Kibwana snubbed the meeting.

The leaders said a  meeting aimed at addressing community needs should not be held at someone's home.
