Kameme Presenter Njogu wa Njoroge has joined Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Making public the move, UDA welcomed the media personality to the Hustler Movement on Friday, January 21, 2022.

"Welcome to the Hustler Nation Njogu Wa Njoroge HSC," UDA tweeted.

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro and his Kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichung'wa were present as DP Ruto welcomed Njogu to UDA.

"Karibu to UDA - Kazi ni Kazi Njogu Wa Njoroge. You are a great and highly talented son of Rurii. Wishing you the best in your political endeavours. Karibu sana Bro.

"Hustler Nation is stronger together," Nyoro stated.

The move implies that Njogu may be contemplating running for elective office in the August 9, 2022, General Elections.

The Kameme TV presenter boasts a huge following of Gikuyu listeners who adore Njogu.

He started his career as a media personality in 2001 when he auditioned for a football commentator position at state-owned KBC.

Njogu has emerged as a shrewd mobiliser who has raised funds for various causes.
