Celebrated TV journalist Hussein Mohamed has welcomed Deputy President William Ruto's invitation to the UDA party.

While reacting to the DP's announcement of his arrival to the Hustler Nation camp, the Former Citizen TV anchor said he shares with the ideals of the UDA party.

Hussein expressed his commitment to work with the Hustler Nation in ensuring the ultimate goal of winning the presidency is achieved.

Hussein was on Monday unveiled as the head of Ruto's presidential campaigns communications.

The move seeks to bolster Ruto's communications as he seeks to stamp his authority as a front-runner in the August 9, race.

" Hussein Mohamed, a renowned TV journalist, has been appointed Head of Communications in the William Ruto Presidential Campaign. Welcome to the Hustler team," Ruto announced.

Hussein left Citizen TV years back and said he will be focusing on other activities.

He has been working as a consultant for NGOs until his appointment as Ruto's head of communications.
