Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has come under criticism for comparing Kenya to Uganda.

The premier appeared on NBS television, Uganda, where she said her country is better off than Kenya.

She cited Kenya experiencing winter as the reason why Uganda is better because it does not experience the same.

"We have a very good country compared to other countries, just go to Kenya here and see. They have winter, and we don't," she said.

The remarks did not augur well with a section of Ugandans who were of the contrary opinion.

"My prayer in all this is for Kenyans not to find this Loudly crying face for them not to find out her position in Uganda," a Ugandan Winnie Chloe said.

Prosper Ahabwe said: "At a time when Ugandans wanted to start a war with Kenyans, the Ugandan Nabafisherman comes out to embarrass not only herself and her boss, but her country as well. Dear madam @RobinahNabbanja talk shows are for the well-read and researched, just keep in your office and fish".

Others who disagreed with her remarks said the reason she cited was not sufficient enough to compare the two countries.

"Does winter make Kenya a bad country? It's instead an income-generating, tourist attraction," Yiga Giovanni said.

Others felt that the PM had rattled the wrong people saying Ugandans will face Kenyans wrath.

"Never mind that. Kenyans are going to hammer us all week," a social media user identified as Sourced said.
