Deputy President William Ruto has sent a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta, ahead of his planned Mt Kenya visit.

In his message, DP Ruto insisted that Mr Odinga is an impossible project to force on the people of Kenya.

He went on to say that the former PM's record is highly destructive and since his partnership with President Kenyatta many things have gone wrong.

DP Ruto added that the country and the people have been at a loss because of Raila's interference.

"The president should be told the Odinga project is impossible. Raila destroyed Jubilee and sabotaged the Big Four Agenda. His track record is highly destructive. Since the handshake, many things have gone wrong. We have gone at a loss as a country because of Raila’s interference with the running of the government,” said the Deputy President.

DP Ruto's words come a few days after the President said he would visit his home region and also reveal details of his fallout with his principal assistant.

President Uhuru is also expected to hold a meeting dubbed 'Sagana 3' with Mt Kenya leaders at the Sagana State Lodge any early next month.
