Muturi said he will now use two new phrases and cautioned the leaders from stealing them again.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has accused Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders including deputy president William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula of stealing his slogan.

Speaking on Sunday, Muturi said he was first to use the slogan dubbed 'Kenya Kwanza' on a billboard that was erected along Thika Road three months ago.

"If you happened to use Thika Road three months ago, you must have seen my billboard with the signature phrase 'Kenya Kwanza'," Muturi said.

He went on to express her utter shock on the two leaders for owning his slogan saying it was unfortunate for them to steal his political phrase.

Muturi said he will now use two new phrases and cautioned the leaders from stealing them again.

"Even a small thing like a phrase can be stolen? If you want to take that one then I'll use 'Wakenya Kwanza' and 'Wakenya Mbele', don't steal that one though," he said.

The phrase Kenya Kwanza has been common with the DP's camp and it was first used when Mudavadi was launching his presidential bid on Sunday, January 23.

It was during the launch that he apparently ditched OKA and announced that he will not work with ODM leader Raila Odinga in the August 9, elections.

He, however, said he will work with the DP.
