Mudavadi faulted the Government for rolling out CBC claiming that stakeholders were not consulted.

The ANC party has said that the Competency-Based-Curriculum (CBC) of education will be scraped if the duo of Kenya Kwanza Alliance Deputy President William Ruto and its Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi win the August election.

Mudavadi faulted the Government for rolling out CBC claiming that stakeholders were not consulted.

"The controversial Competency-Based-Curriculum (CBC) of education will be scraped once the Ruto/Mudavadi government takes power in August," ANC said.

The ANC leader noted that the new system is a big burden and an academic frustration to Kenyan parents.

Last year, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha told off those criticizing CBC insisting the government would not stop the implementation of the education system.

“This Competency-Based Curriculum is here to stay. In my life it is the most transformative thing I have seen. I used to be worried that our teachers would compromise it… Right now even the teachers love it,” said the CS.

He added, “Those saying they will stop this, you are daydreamers…We are not going to stop.”
