Kalonzo said he has not issued any irreducible minimum to Azimio La Umoja movement.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has denied issuing demands to the Azimio la Umoja movement led by ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking at Huruma church in Nairobi, Kalonzo said he has not issued any irreducible minimum to Azimio before joining them.

He said he has been backing people without setting conditions even as he said it is time for those who are anticipating his joining Azimio to also think of joining OKA.

"I am not that kind of a person who issues demand to somebody. Leadership is given by God. We are welcoming them to OKA. For those who want, let them join us," he said.

The former vice president maintained that this time around he should be backed for the top seat considering that those who need his support have received it before.

"Nobody can "swallow" Kalonzo, as you know I have helped them all. This time round they should now turn around and say Kalonzo Tosha," he said.

Media reports on Sunday indicated that Kalonzo had issued demands to the Azimio La Umoja movement before backing the team for the top seat.

He is said to have demanded the seat of the deputy president among many other demands.

Kalonzo and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi are the OKA leader who has remained after the defection of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula to Ruto's camp.
