Last month, the Deputy president claimed that the ''deep state'' had hatched a plan to rig the presidential vote.

Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege on Thursday responded to Deputy President William Ruto after he alleged that there was a plan to rig him in the upcoming general election.

Last month, the Deputy president claimed that the ''deep state'' had hatched a plan to rig the presidential vote.

He stated that he would scuttle such plans adding that nobody would steal his votes.

“Does it look like my votes can be stolen? I am the deputy president of Kenya. Is there a deep state or a system that exists without my knowledge? I will surprise them. The electorate will decide and one the votes have been cast, that is final. No one will interfere with my results,” Ruto stated

Responding to the DP, Sabina said that Ruto knew how Jubilee won the election while dismissing his claims.

"Nimesikia wengine wakisema tuliwaibia kura, kuna kaukwelu kidogo. Lakini mjue kama tulijua kuiba, si hata hii tutafanya 'nini'? Wanafikiria hao ndio wajanja? She posed.

Sabina urged the electorate to register and turn out to vote for Raila Odinga in the August election in large numbers.

Her sentiments admitting that Jubilee might have used unconventional means to win the previous elections have attracted a heated debate on social media.
