National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi has stated that corrupt leaders will be paraded and executed in public if elected president post August 9 General Elections. 

Speaking in Isinya, Kajiado county, the speaker noted that corrupt individuals have drained the country's resources hence suggesting killing of corrupt leaders and recovering proceeds of corruption.  

"Lack of transparency and accountability has drained the country's resources. It is sad that people are looting public coffers shamelessly and recklessly. At this rate, Kenya requires a dictatorship kind of leadership where justice is served promptly

"It is high time that those involved in corruption were paraded at Uhuru Park, firing squad called, the culprits shot dead and the proceeds in their accounts reverted to public coffers," Speaker Muturi said. 

Muturi further warned Kenyans against voting in Kenya Kwanza and Azimio La Umoja alliances noting that its leaders have a tainted past.  

He also told off those who demean his presidential bid noting that the choice of Kenya's next president lies in the power of Kenyans.  

This comes three weeks after Muturi has accused Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders including deputy president William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula of stealing his slogan.

Speaking on Sunday, Muturi said he was first to use the slogan dubbed 'Kenya Kwanza' on a billboard that was erected along Thika Road three months ago.

 "If you happened to use Thika Road three months ago, you must have seen my billboard with the signature phrase 'Kenya Kwanza' 

"Even a small thing like a phrase can be stolen? If you want to take that one then I'll use 'Wakenya Kwanza' and 'Wakenya Mbele', don't steal that one though," he said.
