Matsanga told off Havi for purporting to be Ruto's defender yet he played no role in his freedom from ICC.

Uganda Lawyer David Matsanga, who is fond of commenting on Kenyan issues, on Tuesday evening faced off with former Law society of Kenya Chair Nelson Havi in a tv debate.

The debate was pegged on the proceedings at the ICC where lawyer Paul Gicheru is facing trial for allegations of witness tampering in a case where involving deputy president William Ruto.

It's during the debate that Matsanga unapologetically took a swipe at Havi accusing him of dining with the corrupt.

According to Matsanga, Havi was among a list of people who wanted Ruto jailed over crimes of humanity.

"Nelson Havi touched a wrong trigger. This corrupt lawyer of the same Civil Society who in those days wanted Ruto to be fixed from 2008 is today eating the corrupt money with Ruto," Matsanga claimed.

Matsanga told off Havi for purporting to be Ruto's defender yet he played no role in his freedom from ICC.

"Nelson Havi is claiming to be closer to Ruto today than us who removed Ruto from danger. Come one, what has the world become of?" he posed.

Matsanga also claimed he had planned to support Havi's political campaigns, but he won't do that after Havi allegedly disrespected him.

He declared that the Lawyer will fail in his Westlands parliamentary bid.

"I had planned to buy you some t-shirts for your political campaigns in Westlands, but since you have eaten a lot of money and gone to bed with corrupt people, you can as well buy your own t-shirts. I had loved you so much to an extent I thought that you could win that seat, but you won't," Matsanga explained.
