Ruto's meeting will come two days after President Uhuru Kenyatta concludes his Sagana III meeting.

Deputy President William Ruto will this Saturday hold a major meeting in the Sagana area, Nyeri County.

The meeting will come two days after President Uhuru Kenyatta concludes his Sagana III meeting where he is expected to give the region a political way forward.

The DP's meeting has been confirmed by his digital strategist Dennis Itumbi.

"The Hustler Nation will be in Nyeri on Saturday, February 26, 2022, Sagana four will be in a tent. Hustler Nation will be in a Stadium," Itumbi tweeted.

The scheduling of the meeting two days after Uhuru's major meeting raises eyebrows on the real motive.

Being a political season and the August 9, polls being a few months away, the move is deemed as a strategy to counter gains President Uhuru would have made in his Wednesday meeting.

The President is on Wednesday expected to drop a major bombshell that will unravel what went wrong between him and his deputy William Ruto.

He is also expected to explain to residents why he opted to back the ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency yet he had earlier pledged to back Ruto.

The meeting comes two days to Jubilee and ODM parties NDC scheduled for February 25 and 26.

The NDC will culminate into an endorsement of Raila as the Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate.
