The Head of State called out his deputy William Ruto for peddling lies.

Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has commented on President Uhuru Kenyatta's hard-hitting speech in Sagana, Nyeri County.

Kenyatta on Wednesday during the Sagana III meeting appealed to the Mt Kenya region to support Raila Odinga's presidential bid.

The Head of State called out his deputy William Ruto for peddling lies in the region.

"I appeal you to support Raila. Help him to the top. Even my friend Ruto, he can become president someday akishika line. Tushikilie huyo Mzee (Raila) mara hii, huyo kijana (Ruto) tutafikiria baadaye," Kenyatta told the cheering crowd.

He added,'' I told Ruto what we were discussing with Raila and explained why I had to look for him. He was the last person I talked to before the handshake and he agreed to it. When he says I didn't rope him in is not factual."

Reacting to the speech by the President, Ngunyi seemed to suggest that Kenyatta would make Odinga the President of Kenya.

"Uhuru is the least studied Politician, but the most discussed. He is mending a historical puzzle of a Kikuyu making a Luo president. Take time to study that, because it will happen," Ngunyi said.
