According to reports, the chaos erupted after Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala said words aimed at Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati.

His words did not augur well with Governor Wangamati's supporters who confronted those supporting Malala.

The Bungoma Governor is seeking to defend his seat under the Azimio la Umoja coalition.
