"Let those who keep on insulting me continue," President Uhuru Kenyatta said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has hit back at his deputy president William Ruto stating that no amount of abuse will deter him from working.

During the UDA NDC at Kasarani on Tuesday, DP Ruto and his brigade hit out at the President terming his second term a waste.

Ruto blamed the President for the high costs of living and weaponization of public institutions.

At one point, chants of 'yote yawezekana bila Uhuru' rented the air as DP Ruto appreciated the crowd.

The UDA brigade led by Ruto claimed they had endured untold suffering because of President Kenyatta during a rally in Thika, Kiambu County.

Responding to the Ruto-led team, Kenyatta dismissed the salvos aimed at him by the UDA brigade.

"Let those who keep on insulting me continue. On our part, we shall join hands with like-minded people in order to ensure that there's unity amongst us. This is why we joined forces with the ODM leader Raila Odinga," the Head of State said.
