Sabina Chege was summoned by the IEBC last month over her vote-rigging remarks.

Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege now wants the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC to summon the deputy President William Ruto over vote-rigging claims.

In a statement on Monday, Sabina chege also demanded that Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria be also summoned.

Sabina faulted the IEBC for failing to summon them at a time when they made remarks similar to hers.

She accused the commission of being biased.

"I think IEBC should also summon other people who have made Comments on election rigging, not just Moses Kuria but also DP Ruto. They haven't been Summoned and this goes to show how biased they probably are already," she said.

Sabina was summoned by the IEBC last month over her vote-rigging remarks.

During a rally in Vihiga, she appeared to suggest that they rigged the 2017 polls and that they might do the same in the 2022 polls.

The remarks attracted the rage of Kenyans who rose in protest to demand she be summoned and explain what she knows about the rigging.

It is for that reason that Sabina wants the DP and Moses Kuria summoned.

While in his US tour, the DP appeared to suggest that the 2017 elections were rigged.

Kuria on his part during the UDA party NDC revealed that he and other leaders were among the leaders who rigged votes for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
