“He (Uhuru) didn’t have a problem with Ruto. But if your deputy shows you disrespect, would you really stick there? You will move on,” she said as quoted by the Star.

Mama Ngina stated that politicians abusing the President where not brought up properly.

Speaking during a panel on Citizen TV on Thursday morning, March 24, Senator Cherargei toldt Mama Ngina to keep off politics, adding that the move to address the Uhuru-Ruto fallout would put her in the line of fire.

“I wish she would keep off politics of the day. I’m surprised Mama Ngina is saying Ruto has ill intention yet he supported Uhuru in 2013… The remarks were unfortunate and uncalled for…Some of us know it is more of business interest. They are only focused on protecting their wealth but DP Ruto has already assured them he will protect their wealth,” he said.

“Respect is two ways. If Mama Ngina plays politics and stays in the firing line, some of these things must be put into context. She should keep off politics, concentrate on raising grandchildren and praying and advising the country.

"She should be carrying out motherhood sensitization, preaching peace and if she finds time she can join fellowship, doing what we call kesha and even training pastors and clergy to preach the word of God across the country.,” Cherargei divulged.
