Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua joined the Azimio campaigns of the western region in Kakamega county on Saturday, March 26.

This was the first time Karua joined the Azimio team in campaigning after announcing her party would back Raila Odinga on Tuesday. 

"I'm here to confirm that Narc Kenya and I are supporting the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga," Martha Karua.

Addressing the crowd in Kakamega County, Karua drummed up support for Odinga urging the electorate to turn out and vote for him in large numbers. 

"Mkiniona hapa muelewe ya kwamba Mlima umekubali baba, Na mimi na chama ya Narck kenya tutapambana mpaka aingie ikulu. Maisha yake yote amepigania haki za wakenya," she stated.

The Azimio la Umoja brigade led by their presidential candidate Odinga kicked off their four-day campaign of the Western region on Friday, March 25 in Busia County.

The team is on a hunt voting mission in the region was has in the past elections voted overwhelmingly for the former prime minister. 


Among the leaders who have accompanied Odinga in the campaigns include; Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Governor Otichillio, Karua, Tindi Mwale, Emmanuel Wangwe, Opiyo Wandayi, and Hon. Elsie Muhanda among other leaders.
