The release of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams results by Education CS George Magoha o Monday sparked celebrations in some schools and homes in the country.
Schools that managed to produce top performances in the country deployed various ways of celebrating the outcome even as some parents rewarded their children handsomely for the emerging top.
However, at Chingondi primary school in Bomet central, things were different. The school is an Isolation ever since Magoha released the exams.
Parents, teachers and students have nothing to smile about after the top student of the school scored 137 marks while the last got 44.

The results have caused tension in the area as parents could not believe that their children are facing a bleak future following the school's performance.
Parents are said to hold demos demanding the school headteacher be kicked out even as some blamed the head for the poor performance.
Education officials privy to the developments are said to have visited the school to assess the situation and quell the simmering tension that risks running out of order.
"We do not understand why this school has been performing poorly every year, the headteacher and his deputy should be transferred and new ones brought in to run the school," said Bernard Masai, a parent.
Joan Kirui, another parent, said it was sad that they have been providing all that is needed for their children to excel only to receive heartbreaking results.
"Education officials have promised us that all children will get letters of admission to high schools but what are you going to do with such marks?" she posed adding that discipline among the pupils was wanting."
The results has triggered demand for immediate action as parents say the school has been producing a streak of poor performances.
