Fatuma claimed the alleged rigging aimed at getting tribal balance in Migori county in favour of the minority Kuria community.

Migori Woman Representative Aspirant has captured the attention of many Kenyans after she was recorded protesting ODM party primaries held on Monday, April 18.

In the viral video, Fatuma Mohammed is heard blasting the party leadership for shortchanging her in the primaries despite spending millions to finance her campaigns.

A visibly agitated Mohammed is captured terming the exercise as shambolic and pre-determined amid tears.

Fatuma proceeds to reveal that she sold her house worth Sh25 million to fund her campaigns only to be let down by the party.

She claimed that this is the third time the party is shortchanging her in the primaries.

"I have been very fair to the party, they do wrong to me I kneel down and say It's ok Baba (Raila). I'm spending millions, I sold my house worth Sh25 million to prove that I want to be a woman rep of Migori county and I have proven," Fatuma said.

Fatuma was protesting at the ODM party tallying centre that was staged at Migori Teachers College.

She alleged that the party is favouring the nominated Member of Parliament Dennitah Ghati for the seat.

Fatuma claimed the alleged rigging aimed at getting tribal balance in Migori county in favour of the minority Kuria community.

"2017 I won they took my victory and gave it to current woman rep Pamela Odhiambo. Today I won by landslide."

She revealed that attempts to reach the ODM party officials for intervention over the rigging plot were futile as they could not help in stopping the exercise.
