CS Magoha released the 2021 KCSE exams results at Mtihani House Nairobi on Saturday.

Jeriel Ndeda Obura of Mang'u High School has topped the 2021 KCSE exam results with 87.167 , Education CS George Magoha has announced

349 females scored grade A in the just-released KCSE exams while 789 males had A. 2154 females had A minuses while 3819 with the same grades were males. 5199 females had B plus while 8264 who had the same grade were males. 10,000 females had B plain with 14,000 males scoring the same grade.

145,000 candidates who sat for the KCSE 2021 exams scored a C plus and above. 

CS Magoha released the exams on Saturday at Mtihani House Nairobi.

Magoha has earlier presented the results to president Uhuru Kenyatta who gave a go-ahead for the release.

831,015 candidates were registered for the 2021 KCSE exams in 10,413 centres compared to 752,981 in 10,437 centres in 2020.

In last year's exam, Simiyu Robin Wanjala of Murang'a High School was the top student.

Positions two to five were Wasonga Allan Udoma of Agoro Sare High School, Sharon Chepngeno Terer of the Kenya High School, Moriasi Bob Ongare of Alliance High School and Mbugua Esther Wachuchu of the Kenya high respectively.

Last year, a total of 893 candidates scored grade A plain. 6420 Candidates had an A-minus. 14,427 had a B plus, 25,207 a B plain, 38,194 had a B minus. 57,999 candidates scored C plus.

85,458 candidates had a C plain, 109,454 had a C minus and 117,898 a D plus. 121942 candidates had a D plain, 137,361 had a D minus while 28,026 had an E.
