The ODM leader said that the manifesto would be out in a week's time.

Azimio presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has intimated the key reason why the political outfit is delaying the unveiling and publishing of its manifesto.

Speaking on Tuesday, the ODM leader said that they delayed publishing it because of their competitors.

“We delayed publishing it because we know that our competition was going to try to plagiarise our ideas. But now we are going to release it shortly,” Raila remarked.

The ODM chief said that the manifesto would be out in a week’s time. He added that Azimio has got a 10-point agenda in its manifesto.

Raila explained that Kenyans will have the opportunity to know what is contained in the manifesto as it would be explained to them candidly.

“Here we have got right now a 10-point agenda. You will have an opportunity to hear what our team will explain to you. We are now preparing the final manifesto of Azimio,” he stated.

Raila said that the Azimio team will be retreating to finalize the document before it is eventually unveiled.

He added that the manifesto will give Kenyans a clue about what Azimio is going to do in major fields of development in the country.

“All the major development fields are going to be in that manifesto,” he added.
