Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has revealed the top position pre-assigned to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka if Azimio assumes power in August.
Speaking on Monday while unveiling his running mate, Raila said that he had nominated Kalonzo for the position of Chief Cabinet Secretary.
"After reviewing the committee report, I have nominated Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka as the Chief Cabinet Secretary to help me form the Azimio government," Raila stated.
The former Prime Minister spoke as he named Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua as his running mate in the upcoming polls.
"After along search and reflection, together with consultation, I have arrived at the decision that the holder of this position must be a woman," he said.

Raila further nominated outgoing Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Agriculture CS Peter Munya for Lands CS and Agriculture CS dockets respectively.
He also nominated former National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende for the position of Speaker of the Senate. The ODM leader further nominated the ODM deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya for the Treasury CS docket.
Raila's announcement comes even as Kalonzo announced that he would be running for the presidency in August.
The Wiper boss on Monday picked Andrew Lateipa Sunkuli as his running mate as he prepares to run on a Wiper ticket under the OKA coalition.
Kalonzo said that his decision was informed after Raila picked Karua as his running mate in the Azimio coalition party.
"I have ended my relationship with Azimio La Umoja after Raila Odinga opted to pick Martha Karua as his running mate, I will run as President on Wiper ticket under Oka Coalition," he said.
