A total of 38 presidential independent candidates have submitted their symbols to IEBC.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has gazetted the list of independent candidates ahead of the August general election. 

The electoral body listed 38 candidates who had submitted their symbols in preparation to be on the ballot.

A look at some of the symbols submitted showed extraordinary symbols that were hilarious, among them ostrich, baboon, and showerhead.
