Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has welcomed back Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition.

Details emerged on Wednesday, May 18 that Kalonzo Musyoka was headed back to the Azimio after talks with top party officials. 

Kalonzo held talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga over his return to Azimio. 

In a tweet on Thursday, Makueni Governor Kibwana welcomed Kalonzo back but warned he must stop with the endless demands. 

Kibwana also noted that they must sit down with Odinga and his deputy with all the parties campaigning for the former prime Minister in Ukambani and agree on development matters in the region. 

"Waita Nzioka, Charity Ngilu, and myself still welcome WIPER into Azimio. However, all the parties which are campaigning for fifth in Ukambani will sit with The candidate & his Deputy to agree on Development and the face of government for the region. No more endless demands," Kibwana stated.

It has emerged that Kalonzo demanded the Chief Cabinet Secretary's position be included in the Azimio la Umoja agreement as a guarantee that the position will be preserved for him.  

The former vice president also demanded a bigger share of the government if Azimio win the August polls.
