Names of Those who will be accompanying Raila and Martha Karua to their campaign trails have also been revealed

Azimio la Umoja- One Kenya Alliance Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has unveiled a campaign team divided into 16 different regions across the country.

Odinga has designated duties to his entrusted allies as one way of ensuring that his campaigns cover all parts of the country ahead of the August polls. 

The team will be tasked with leading Raila and Martha Karua's campaigns in their respective regions (grassroots levels) even if Raila Odinga and his National campaign team will not be physically available in the said regions.

Raila and Karua will be holding their rallies together or individually in the company of eleven-team leaders who will be helping them.

Those who are set to accompany the two in their rallies include; Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, Peter Kenneth, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Nyeri DG Carol Karugu, Philip Pande, Mishi Mboko, Opiyo Wandayi, Richard Onyonka, Caleb Amisis, Maina Kamanda, and Kanini Kega.

In the Western Kenya region, Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and CS Eugene Wamalwa will be leading a team of leaders from the region including MPs Wafula Wamunyinyi, Eseli Simiyu, Emmanuel Wangwe, Ayub Savula, George Khaniri, George Natembeya, Sospeter Ojamoong, David Eseli, and Paul Otuoma.

In the Coastal region, Raila's campaign team will be led by Governor Ali Hassan Joho. He will be helped by Gideon Mungaro, Suleiman Shahbal, Naomi Shaban, Abdulshwamad Shariff, and Omar Boga among other Raila allied leaders from the region.

Kenya's Ambassador to Austria Stephen Tarus will lead Azimio campaigns in Deputy President William Ruto's Rift Valley backyard.

He will be assisted by Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny, Kanu SG Nick Salat, Governor John Lonyangapuo, John Munyes, and David Pkosing among others.

Agriculture CS Peter Munya together with Murang'a county woman Representative Sabina Chege and Governor Lee Kinyajui will lead Odinga's campaigns in the Mt Kenya region.

They will be helped by Jamleck Kamau, Ephraim Maina, Priscilla Nyokabi, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Francis Kimemia, Governor Nyoro, and Jeremiah Kioni among others.

In the Nairobi region, Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi and Rachel Shebesh have been tasked with leading Raila's campaigns. They will be helped by all the Azimio la Umoja aspirants in the city.

Kisii County Governor James Ongwae, MPs John Mbadi, Simba Arati have been tasked with leading the Nyanza campaigns team. They will also be helped by all Azimio la Umoja aspirants and leaders from Nyanza.

Joseph Ole Lenku will be leading Maasai land team and will be assisted by senator Ledama Ole Kina, Memusi Kanchori, and Moitalel Ole Kenya among others.

Treasury CS Ukurr Yatani and Faisal Abass will lead the North-Eastern region. They will be assisted by MPs Adan Keinan, Fatuma Gedi, and Hassan Noor, among other Azimio leaders.

In Ukambani, Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana will lead the team assisted by all the Azimio allied MPs.

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and her Homa Bay counterpart Gladys Wanga have been tasked with leading all Women League campaigns. They will be helped by Rachel Shebesh, Rosa Buyu, Judy Pareno among other women leaders in Azimio.

Nominated Senator Isaac Ngugi will lead the campaigns for the youth assisted by Solomon Kuria and other youth leaders in the camp.

All the teams are expected to start their assignments this week when Raila will be touring the Western Kenya region.
