The top student of the 2017 KCPE exams Goldalyn Kakuya has continued with her impressive performance after making headlines five years ago.

She is the first girl with albinism in the country to top the KCPE exams.

Kakuya who enrolled on a foreign curriculum in her secondary education graduated from Form six at Brook-House school on Friday.

Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura shared the development on social media saying she once again excelled in her exams after scoring the highest score.


"Goldalyn Kakuya has finally graduated from Form Six at Brook-house Karen after 5 good years. Am A* (star) student, she intends to study medicine at an International University. Today I joined her family and friends in celebrating this victory," Mwaura said.

Kakuya was the top KCPE candidate with 455 marks. She schooled St Ann Junior School Lubao in Kakamega County.

Her performance saw her meet President Uhuru Kenyatta and first lady Margaret Kenyatta who vowed to support her education.
