Raila dismissed the DP allegations saying he has no sufficient votes that can be rigged.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has laughed off allegations by Deputy President William Ruto that there is a plot to rig the forthcoming presidential elections.

Speaking in Machinery, Makueni County, Raila dismissed the DP allegations saying he has no sufficient votes that can be rigged.

He chided the DP saying his claims were based on the fact that he has sensed defeat in the August 9, polls.

"Nimesikia huyo jama wa tangatanga analia kuna njama ya kuiba Kura. Ati ooh kura yangu imeibiwa. Atii ooh wamebadilisha wapiga Kura. Kura yako iko wapii? Yeye Tayari ameshaona dalili ya Kwamba anaenda Kushindwa," Raila said.

Raila who is on a campaign trail in the Eastern region was flanked by Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Governor Charity Ngilu, and Kivutha Kibwana among many other leaders.

The leaders exuded confidence that the Ukambani region will fully back the Azimio flagbearer in the August elections.

Raila’s attack on the DP comes in the wake of claims that some 800,000 voters from Ruto’s stronghold were transferred.

The claims came even as KPMG conducts an audit of the IEBC voter register, an exercise expected to end on June 16.

So far about a million voters are likely to scrap from the register, given that some were found dead, others had no valid IDs and some were registered twice.
