An invite letter seen by Nairobi Leo shows the meeting will deliberate on three key issues.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has invited all presidential candidates for a meeting.

"The Commission invites you to a presidential Candidates meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Windsor Gold Hotel and Country Club from 8.00 am," reads in part an invite letter by IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati.

The Body has cleared only four persons to vie for the presidency. 

They Include Azimio flagbearer Raila Odinga, Deputy President William Ruto, Agano party candidate David Mwaure Wahiga and Roots Party candidate George Wajackoyah.

In an invite letter seen by Nairobileo.co.ke, the meeting dubbed "consultative meeting" is set to deliberate three key issues.

Among the issue to be addressed include printed register of voters, election results path, and harmonization of campaign schedules for presidential candidates.

Each presidential candidate is required to be accompanied by a delegation of not more than five people.

The meeting comes less than 50 days before the presidential elections scheduled for August 9.
