The Teachers Service Commission has advertised 14,460 jobs across the country.

The commission has declared 5,000 new vacancies and another 8,230 others to replace teachers who have left the service through natural attrition.

3,972 of the teachers to be recruited will be posted to different secondary schools to assist in the 100 per cent transition policy.

A total of 1,000 teachers will be posted to primary institutions while teacher training colleges will get 28 tutors.

Their recruitment will be on permanent and pensionable terms.

TSC is also seeking to hire 1,230 teachers from three counties in the North-Eastern region.

The commission is seeking to hire teachers on both permanent, pensionable(844), and contractual terms(386).

764 posts will be for primary Schools while the remaining 80 posts will be slated for secondary schools.

All applications are only submitted through their online portal.

TSC has directed that all sections must be filled with the required information as prompted.

“Interested and qualified candidates should submit their applications online through the TSC website, www.tsc.go.ke under ‘Careers’ or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke,” the circular reads.

The applicants are also expected to scan and attach only original required documents. 

Expatriate teachers are expected to attach a letter of clearance from the Ministry of Education Vetting Committee.
