  • Covid-19 caseload now at 91,526
  • This is after 548 tested positive for the virus

Kenya has recorded 548 more COVID-19 cases bringing the total number of infections in the country to 91,526.

This number is from 6,953 samples tested in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.

COVID-19 fatalities also rose to 1,586 after four more patients succumb to the virus.

Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe also announced that 1,017 more patients have been discharged after making a full recovery.

Kenya now has a total number of 72,596 recovered Covid-19 cases.

Currently, there are 982 patients admitted to various health facilities countrywide.

MoH reported that 6,782 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.

44 patients are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 27 of whom are on ventilatory support, and 15 on supplemental oxygen. 2 are on observation.
