Boniface Mwnagi: “Instead of Uhuru focusing on his election promises, he was busy campaigning for an opposition parliamentary candidate. Broke people will not listen to the men who made them broke. Uhuru presidency will end in tears.

Renowned Kenyan human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta over his recent meeting with ODM Msambweni Parliamentary candidate Omar Boga.

In a tweet after Boga was defeated by Independent Candidate Feisal Abdala, Boniface Mwangi claimed that the President should prepare for a rough ending as he winds down his term in office.

He alluded to the fact that Omar Boga may have lost because of his association with leaders he claims have made Kenyans broke.

“Instead of Uhuru focusing on his election promises, he was busy campaigning for an opposition parliamentary candidate. Broke people will not listen to the men who made them broke. Uhuru presidency will end in tears. Statehouse na ODM wapatie bloggers pesa ya matusi, hashtag itrend,” he tweeted.

In the recently concluded by-election, President Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga rallied behind Boga while Deputy President William Ruto supported Feisal.

ODM has since conceded defeat, while DP Ruto has hailed for his massive win.

“Congratulation my friend Feisal Bader. Your win cements our trust in God and the people. Democracy and people power have triumphed. Watu wa Msambweni Mungu awabariki. Pongezi E. Mwihaki (Gaturi), S.Wanango(Lakeview), K.Ochieng( Wendani) and all winners. To others there's next time,” he tweeted.
