A pregnant woman has died after slipping into an 80 feet borehole In Kagumo, Magumoni Ward in Chuka Igambang'ombe constituency, Tharaka Nithi County.
The woman had gone to fetch water when the tragedy occurred.
The incident happened on Friday morning.
The woman's body has been retrieved with the help of the Tharaka Nithi County fire and rescue team.

Her body has been taken to the Chuka referral hospital morgue.
