The much anticipated Nairobi festival announced by Governor Sakaja kicked off on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Governor Sakaja had earlier announced that this year's Nairobi Festival would be held at Uhuru Park from 12th December - 17th December 2022.

The Governor pointed out that the fete would be held every December to display and celebrate the “vibe of the city”.

In the photos seen by Nairobi Leo, a huge chunk of Nairobians turned up for the festival at Uhuru Park.

A section of Kenyans was seen enjoying boat rides while another was showcasing the products they were selling to the public.
