A KCPE candidate from Mandera county has offered to reward Embakasi East MP Babu Owino with a camel for helping him pass the 2022 exams.

Abdiqani Mohamed scored 370 marks in the 2022 KCPE exams surpassing his expectations.'

He credits his passing of exams to online classes Hon Babu has been leading on social media.

He revealed that at the time of joining online classes, he was scoring as low as 200 marks but his performance got better as the MP continued teaching them online.

"I am very grateful to Hon Babu Owino for helping me pass exams. Before I joined online classes I was not performing very well. My expectations were very low. I could not believe the results I got.

"Thank You Mweshimiwa. I have learnt a lot from you and I look forward to learning more every day. Before I forget, niko an gift yako ya ngamia for Christmas sijuoi itakufikia aje. Thank you and may God bless you," Mohamed said in a video.



The MP in response to the gesture was elated to learn that his program had such a high impact on many learners.

He encouraged learners to continue working hard to better their future.

"A word of advice to our children who passed KCPE exams not forgetting those who never scored as per their expectations. Success is not final, failure is not fatal, and it is the courage to continue that counts," Babu said.
