The body of a primary school teacher who had gone missing in Nyamira has been found in the house of a female nurse.
Police are now hunting down the nurse believed to have also gone missing.
Ezekiel Nkeere Gitangwa was reported missing by his wife Gladys Achoki after he failed to return home.
He had been dropped at Egesieru village in West Mugirango by a boda boda rider Friday.
It is then that a search was mounted which led detectives to the nurse's house in the same village.
The nurse identified by her name as Agneta Agwata works at Nyamaiya Health Centre.
Police gained entry by breaking the door to the house since the nurse was nowhere to be found.
Nkeere’s body was found hidden in a room used for keeping poultry wrapped in a purple carpet.
The body of the deceased teacher was moved to Nyamira County Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem as police search for the nurse
