The Standard Media Group chief of staff Laban Cliff Onserio is staring at an ugly exit from the media company after he was denied access to the company. 

Nairobi Leo has learnt that Onserio, after being released on bail in a case where he is said to have possessed an explosive, arrived at the Standard Group office on Monday.

His access card however failed to open the door and when he asked a security guard, he was told to contact his supervisor who is the CEO Orlando Lyomu.

He is said to have contacted the company CEO but he could not reach him on phone. The journalist opted to leave the premises and go back home.

The journalist was arrested on December 26 after he was found with a grenade at Holy Family Basilica.

He was held for days before he was released.

Onserio is said to have written to the Standard Media Group management apologising for the events that unfolded since e his arrest and drug into the mud by his arrest.

The company, after his arrest, pledged to ensure that the due process of the law is followed.

Onserio had asked the court for an alternative way of solving the case
