Detectives also visited the Spain area in Kahoya Estate where Jackton Odhiambo's parents lived and collected some items.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Thursday visited Noble Breeze Apartments in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County to continue with the probe into the death of fashion designer and LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba.

It is there that Chiloba is believed to have lived with his alleged lover Jackton Odhiambo, the prime suspect in the murder.

The detectives led by Martin Nyuguto, the DCI in charge of homicide probes, collected blood-stained clothes believed to belong to the slain LGBTQ activist.

It is after dusting the house that police moved to Kapsaret Sub-county where the deceased was found dumped inside a metal box.

It is while there that they sought to recover more evidence, took photographs and picked other items they believe will help with the investigations.

From there, they proceeded to the Spain area in Kahoya Estate where Jackton Odhiambo's parents lived. While there, they collected items belonging to the slain Chiloba.

The items collected include clothes, shoes and some electronic devices.

The detectives are intending to visit more scenes where Chiloba was last seen in a bid to gather more evidence in relation to the murder case.

"We have been visiting the scenes where Chiloba was last seen before his death. We intend to visit more scenes to gather enough evidence to be presented in court by the prosecution," Nyuguto stated.

It is that evidence that the prosecution will rely on handling the case against the accused.

Odhiambo is the prime suspect in the murder. Eldoret police said he confessed to killing him due to cheating.
