Former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed resurfaced on Tuesday, February 7, after a long absence from the public.
Speculations have been rife about the absence of Joho and Junet after the Azimio coalition led by Raila Odinga lost the presidential race in the August 2022 polls.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party through its Twitter shared photos of the two leaders with Odinga.
According to ODM, the former Prime Minister held a meeting with Joho, Junet, and former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya regarding party matters.
"Raila Odinga this afternoon held a meeting with his deputies Wycliffe Oparanya and Hassan Joho at a Nairobi Hotel where they discussed party matters and the ongoing People’s Consultative Forums by the Azimio la Umoja. Junet Mohamed was present," ODM said.
Joho and Junet have been absent from the rallies that are being spearheaded by Raila dubbed people's consultative forums.
