Taking to Twitter after the courtesy visit, Sonko recounted how PS Moseiya was one of the Nairobi MCAs that stood with him when he was facing impeachment.

“Earlier today Wildlife Permanent Secretary and former Nairobi County assembly member Hon. Silvia Moseiya paid me a valentine's courtesy call in my office with some Valentine's goodies.

“Despite the threats from the former deep state and system she was one of the 57 loyal MCAS who stood firm with me during the county assembly and senate's illegal impeachment that was politically instigated by the former Kenya one,” Sonko tweeted.

He revealed that PS Moseiya was at some point suspended while serving as a nominated MCA in Nairobi County but was later reinstated by the High Court.

“At some point, she was suspended as an MCA just for being loyal to me but after moving to the high court she was reinstated. She also testified as my witness during the senate's impeachment proceedings. I wish her well in her appointment as the PS by His Excellency William Ruto,” Sonko added.
