The changes come days after over 30 other Jubilee MPs visited President William Ruto at State House and agreed to work together.

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition has made changes to its Senate leadership.

In a statement released on Wednesday, February 15, the Raila Odinga-led coalition dropped Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo from her Deputy Minority Whip position, replacing her with Narok Senator Ledama Olekina.

“Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition has made changes in its leadership in the Senate. Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo has been dropped and her place taken up by her Deputy Ledama Olekina who will now be deputized by SG Edwin Sifuna. The leader remains Stewart Madzayo & Dep. Enock Wambua,” the statement read.

The changes come days after Fatuma Dullo with 30 other Jubilee MPs visited President William Ruto at State House and agreed to work together.

The Jubilee MPs then held a meeting and kicked out party officials allied to the Azimio la Umoja coalition.

The MPs suspended Jeremiah Kioni as the party's Secretary General replacing him with EALA MP Kanini Kega.

They also suspended National Vice Chairperson General David Murathe and Treasurer Kagwe Gichohi replacing them with Eldas MP Adan Keynan and Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai respectively.

The changes were ratified on Tuesday, February 14 by the registrar of political parties Anne Nderitu.
